Fire Cupping

Fire Cupping

Fire cupping is a therapeutic treatment used to perform pain relief therapy using glass cups.

In traditional Chinese medicine, fire cupping is used as the main therapeutic practice. Fire cupping is a method of applying suction to the skin with a hot cup. It is used to promote blood circulation and remove excess toxins from the body.

Essentially, our fire cupping therapy has many health benefits; it relieves muscle spasms, promotes blood circulation, skin diseases, and obesity, and relieves pain. In addition, fire cupping helps with the lymphatic system by stimulating the movement of lymph while promoting circulation.

Our skillful cupping practitioners apply cups to the skin to promote healing. These cups are sterilized and hygienic and made from animal skins to promote blood circulation and remove toxins from the body. Many clients also use fire cupping therapy for relief from muscle pain and spasms.

In addition, our experienced practitioners also use cups for acupuncture: we use glass cups to apply pressure to specific points on the body and stimulate the body’s natural healing properties. Essentially, fire cupping is a practice that our registered therapists perform with passion.

How Does Fire Cupping Work?

We apply suction using cups made from animal skin or glass. We then apply pressure to the skin with palms while moving hands up and down the contracted area. This may cause a temporary bruise depending upon your skin type to trigger optimal blood flow and promote natural healing.

These glass cups are then removed and replaced with a new set of cups that have been heated in a fire. These hot cups are applied to the skin and removed after they have cooled down. This process may leave temporary marks on the skin areas where the cups were.
